This suggested viewing order prioritizes enjoyment over plot-point continuity, because watching for “the order things happen in” is the time-suckiest way, and not ultimately rewarding, because the shows are based on comic books, and as comics fans, we KNOW continuity to be a fool’s errand. JESSICA JONES Season 3 is effectively the last chapter of the Marvel-Netflix story.
1. JESSICA JONES Season 1
Marvel’s best binge-show.
Mind-control versus brute force,
funny yet violent.
2. JESSICA JONES S3
Every episode
hits home like a violet punch
to the family’s Jewel.
3. DAREDEVIL S1
The finest moment
is the fight at e2’s end.
Oh! And the costume.
4. LUKE CAGE S1
Slower than you’d think.
Musically-textually cool,
not a great ending.
5. DAREDEVIL S2
For Daredevil fans
and Elektra/Punisher fans
and the stairwell fight.
6. THE DEFENDERS
The quartet teams up
but Iron Fist is awful.
Without him, not bad.
7. LUKE CAGE S2
Kind of too real?
The cast has so got you, though,
if you love Luke Cage.
8. DAREDEVIL S3
Perfect retelling
of the “Born Again” comics arc
with fucked-up Bullseye.
And, in my opinion, you’re not in bad shape if you stop right there. But, for the sake of due almost-diligence:
9. JESSICA JONES S2
Relatively meh,
oddly focused on mother,
I think, miss-able.
10. PUNISHER S1
Well-executed.
Great acting and macho shit.
No superheroes.
11. PUNISHER S2
Didn’t see this one,
am sure he shoots hella dudes.
Still beats Iron Barf.
12. IRON FIST S1
Skip this one because
it is fully terrible
except for Colleen Wing.
13. IRON FIST S2
Pass. Spoiler warning:
Colleen becomes Iron Fist.
Could’ve started there.

THE DEFENDERS WILL RETURN IN ????
